The Value Of Having A Mediating Cat

By Kathleen Gibson

While it is certainly true that no two cats are exactly alike, it can be generally said that most cats have a more quiet and calm composure when compared to other animals. This personality trait in felines makes them excellent candidates for the role of animal mediators when people are trying to settle a dispute. A mediating cat is there to help keep the vibe and atmosphere in the room calmer, which can do a lot to help everybody who is involved in the argument.

Anyone who has ever been involved in a domestic dispute knows how difficult they can be. The fact that the two or more people who are arguing live together and know each other extremely intimately only serves to make things harder on everyone involved. This is the main kind of situation in which cats can be very helpful to have in the mix, but this is by no means the limit of their usefulness.

When a loud and unexpected noise occurs, cats will usually run off to an unknown hiding place until the supposed danger has passed. This means that people who want to have a cat sit nicely on their lap or between them and the person they're fighting with, they will have to stop themselves from shouting. This is great for those who don't want to end up saying things they'll regret.

Some people say that animals have a sixth sense, which is interpreted to mean a number of different things for different people. Some look at the way that animals seem to know when there is a storm coming long before it actually happens, while others think more about the fact that cats and other pets seem to be tuned in to their human friends' emotions. This means that they are very well-equipped when it comes to being there when people need them.

When a person pets an animal, their blood pressure goes down. In fact, just having a pet in the room can often do a lot to make a person feel more happy and relaxed. It is this therapeutic component of the animals that make them great in these types of situations.

In some arguments, sometimes no one is exactly right and no one exactly wrong. It can also be hard to see something from the other's perspective. That's why having a mediator in the middle who is unbiased is often necessary.

The wonderful thing about cats and other pets is that families tend to be brought together by them. With everyone loving the same animal, it's hard not to feel a sense of connection and family. It is a wonder what these furry companions can do for a family.

Hypoallergenic animals are a great option for people who didn't think that they would ever be able to have a pet in the house. All it takes is a single person in a home to make it seemingly impossible to have indoor and outdoor cats. Hairless breeds are popular hypoallergenic options, and they are just as loving and adorable.
